Science Journal

Here are some of the class assignments that should be in your journal so far about force and motion. Please make sure that each and every page has the date, title, learning focus and page number. Also, be sure to update your table of contents. Your science journal is such an excellent resource! You can get out just as much as you put into it!

 On this day we created a concept map on how Force and Motion affects our everyday lives.


 On this day we created a foldable about what we Know about Force and Motion,what we Want to know about Force and Motion and as we continue to learn, we will record our learning in the Learned section on the foldable.
 


 Here we created a foldable using our vocabulary words which we reviewed in class to help us with the homework and to study for the vocabulary quiz on friday.
 


On this day we reviewed the difference between physical changes and chemical changes and discussed
examples of each.

 On this day we created a silly story using our vocabulary words of the week.

We have begun using seeing science structures for warm up activities to review and reinforce concepts. Students are to complete one activity daily from the worksheet provided which should be attached in their journals. The first activity was to create a bar graph comparing nutrition information provided from two different brands of chips.

Here we created a class poem about matter, then students were asked to make their own poem.
